On Saturday, September 12, 2020, 7 of our students completed their black belt journey and tested for various levels of black belts. These black belts have a unique story to tell as they achieved this through the Covid pandemic. That is the true definition of Perseverance and Indomitable Spirit.
This was the final segment of a two part testing process at Arrowhead Martial Arts Academy: written & curriculum (board breaking, weapons, self-defense, patterns, sparring, etc). Along the 3 1/2-4 year journey students also earned badges in Respect, Teamwork, Perseverance, Self-Discipline, Leadership and Knowledge.
None of these students could have reached this moment without the support of their parents, grandparents, and their awesome instructors. A big thanks to all who were, and are, a part of this ongoing journey. Now the fun begins as we welcome many new black belts to a new experience as they join our Black Belt classes on Monday and Wednesdays.
